Erik is a native of San Antonio, Texas, and is a graduate of the University of Texas with a BBA in business.
He started in the financial services business in 1989 for a nationally known insurance firm where he made the company's premier performers club his first year and every year following until he was asked to join the company's management team. He ranked among the company's Top 10 Managers nationally and excelled each year as a front-line manager.
In 1994, he left for a better opportunity and became a General Agent for The Guardian in San Antonio, Texas. Before long, The Financial Process Group was started and became one of the fastest growing financial services firms in the United States. The Financial Process Group today is one of the largest financial services firm in the State of Texas with offices in 10 cities, with headquarters in Austin and Dallas. FPG has won numerous awards including the prestigious Master Agency Award, National Management Award – Diamond Class (the highest award), and the National Group Insurance Award by The Guardian.
Erik resides in Austin. He is the proud father of four children, and his wife, Becky serves as the head of financial administration for FPG. He is a member of AALU, GAMA, NAIFA, and has served as a member of the Field Advisory Board for the Midwest region of Guardian. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Lone Star Paralysis Foundation.
